Thanks to a grant from the Arts Council for Long Beach, from high noon to starry night, we sparked a vibrant, creative energy alongside top local Long Beach musicians. The resulting magic? An interactive, improvisational community music experience that was both free and fun. We're eager to share this unique experience with YOUR event. Delving into the cosmic origins of Galactica's "Color Me Galactivated" coloring book, each page is a manifestation of her spiritual experiences and universal inspiration. Today's featured design isn't just art but a cosmic message, traced from an ancient artifact in central Mexico depicting what appears to be an extraterrestrial entity. These "Aztlan Stones", found by locals and native families in the mountains, are rich with the history of the indigenous Huichol/Wixárika culture and their 10,000-year-old oral teachings about gods bringing humanity to their land. On International Make Music Day 6.21.23, Saint Joe was invited to be the beatbox rhythm section for our friend Michael ‘s euphoric performance in downtown Long Beach at for an event organized by 99.1 KLBP FM.

Join us on an exciting exploration of musical improvisation with our recent feature on 99.1 KLBP Long Beach's @globalgroovesradio. We spanned the global soundscape, celebrating the diversity and universality of improvisational music. We journeyed from jazz's fluid melodies to the spontaneous tribal rhythms, showing how cultures capture the spirit of the moment in their unique sound expressions. 📻🌍 We also delved into our creative process, showing how we channel cosmic energies to create unique sound experiences, embodying the Galactivators' ethos. This hour-long segment airing in July takes you across the globe, through time, and into music's heart. So prepare to traverse the musical cosmos with us!
